About Me
I am going to try and make this short and sweet even though I might be described more as tall, a bit sassy, silly at times yet deep, a little bit country, and a little bit R & B lol (I think I just dated myself) As I become more seasoned in life, I realize how little I really know and how much room I have to grow! I was born with the gift of gab, but as the years go by, I am discovering that I really enjoy writing and expressing myself on paper so to speak, and even being a little quieter than I used to be. I have also discovered that I enjoy "trying" to write poems, which I never knew I was capable of. This came out after I lost my amazing and oh so strong sister Jodi to Cancer in 2022. Through my sisters last several years of battling cancer and my dad dealing with the progression of Parkinson's the last decade of his life, I have had a passion for researching and implementing healthy and nutritious foods that can be a benefit to your mind, body, and overall health. I believe there is a significant connection between the two.
I enjoy expanding my horizons, creating, growing, encouraging, and connecting, which is one of the reasons I have created this blog.
I am a wife, a survivor of divorce, a mother of two spectacular men whom I adore (and trust me, I could say more) a mother-in law, a newly made G'Ma, sister, friend, aunt, daughter of my earthly parents, and most importantly, a child of the most High God and lover of the Lord (Galatians 3:26-29)
I consider myself athletic and love the outdoors. That being said, I also enjoy being cozy inside, snuggled up to a warm fire with a delightful cup of coffee, tea, good ole nourishing glass of water (with a lemon of course) or a delicious beverage :-} I love the Lord and his living word, my treasured family, friends, building relationships, music, singing, a great movie, photography, water and snow sports, interior design, learning more about the benefits of integrative medicine, gardening, writing, living life, hiking, mountain biking, horses and more horses, cooking and of course eating, fishing, reading, discovering, encouraging, and self improvement. With that said, who knows where this blog will lead and how it will evolve. It will be an exciting adventure for all who wants to join me...
As I dive deeper into this big world of growth, I hope to be of encouragement to all I come across and continue to use the gifts and talents the good Lord has bestowed upon me. In doing this, I hope to inspire you in a positive way to do the same. We are unique and beautifully made, one of a kind. We are also, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:13-18) So, let's not waste any more time in being who we were created to be...

Big hugs,
